How to Enable or Disable Notifications for 8x8 Work for Mobile
To enable or disable the notifications on the mobile application.
- Work for Mobile
After installing the Work for Mobile, you receive a prompt asking to allow the application to send you device-based notifications. If you decline the prompt, notifications are disabled by default.
In order to stay up-to-date on communications in Work for Mobile, it is highly recommended that you enable notifications on your device.
- Open Work for Mobile.
- Tap on your profile.
- Tap Settings.
- Under Notifications toggle to on, the events type you want to get notifications for.
- Tap Device Settings.
- Enable notifications, and edit the notification settings as needed.
In order to see notifications in real-time, you must be logged into Work for Mobile on your device. If you are logged out of Work for Mobile, notifications are only visible once you log back in.
Work for Mobile follows your device-set vibrate settings for notifications.
