Inbound Calls Are Not Following Forwarding Rules


Inbound calls are offered to the end user whilst the end user is busy on the line. 

  • When a user is busy 
  • When a user does not answer the call within 10 seconds 

Applies To

  • Admin Console
  • Forwarding Calls


  1. Ensure call waiting is not enabled on the extension.
  2. Check to see if the extension is on DND status, which causes calls to overflow to the extension`s voicemail.


If the call waiting is enabled, it will not follow call forwarding rules and offer calls to the end-user.
