Enable or Disable Ring Group Voicemail Access for a User


Disable Ring Group voicemail access for a specific user.

Applies To

  • 8x8 Admin Console
  • Ring Groups
  • Voicemail


Note: This applies to Ring Group voicemail only. Users can still access their own voicemail and can receive a voicemail email notification from their extension if enabled.

  1. Log in to 8x8 Admin Console.
  2. Go to Ring Groups then click Edit.Screen Shot 2021-01-25 at 3.15.14 PM.png
  3.  Go to Members > Options.
  4. Click Enable or Disable voicemail access.
  5. Click Save.
