Unable To Call The Provided Phone Error When Recording a Voicemail Greeting in Admin Console


When attempting to create a new recording in Admin Console, on a user's profile, by selecting Change in the Voicemail settings, followed by + Create Audio Files and By Calling a Number to Record, you receive error code "We were unable to call the provided phone number... "

The Call to Record needs to be done by the 8x8 account Primary Admin user, and the Primary Admin needs to have an X2 license or higher.


The 'Call a phone number to record' feature is for use by the Primary Administrator of the 8x8 account.
