Calls Sent to Custom Call Park Extensions Cannot Be Picked Up

Symptom

Calls parked on a custom call park extension cannot be picked up. The user attempting to pick up the call hears a busy signal.

Resolution

Remove and recreate the call park extensions.

  1. In Admin Console, navigate to Extension numbers.
  2. Under Filters, select Type : "Call Park", only Call Park extensions are displayed.
  3. Select the Call Park extension in question > click the delete icon (looks like a trash can).
  4. In the warning "Are you sure?", confirm it is the desired extension > click Delete.
  5. Click "+ Reserve Extension Numbers", and re-add the desired extension.
