Creating Contacts in 8x8 Work for Desktop


Create contacts in Work for Desktop.

Individual Contacts

  1. Open Work for Desktop.
  2. Click Contacts.

  3. Select the My Contacts tab.
  4. Click Add new contact.
  5. Fill in contact information. Click More to add other specific information, such as the Department and Location of your contact.
  6. Click Save.

Contacts from Call History

  1. Open the Calls tab.
  2. Select Calls or Missed.
  3. Hover over the desired contact, and then click More.
  4. From the drop-down, select Create new contact to start creating a new contact; the number and Caller ID (if one exists) are automatically filled in.

  5. Enter the contact details.
  6. Click Save.
