Insufficient Privileges to Save Task in 8x8 Contact Center

Symptom

8x8 Contact Center agent is getting an error when attempting to save a task in local CRM:

"Insufficient privileges to perform the operation."

Resolution

Enable the agent/user for Edit in CRM & Tab permissions within their profile in Contact Center Configuration Manager.

Cause

The agent is not enabled with Edit permissions in their profile.
