Single Sign On Failed When Logging in to 8x8 Contact Center
When an agent clicks on the 8x8 Contact Center icon in the Single Sign-On (SSO) panel, an error appears:
"The single sign on failed."
This may appear for a new agent.

In Configuration Manager, check the user's assigned Services and Permissions. The user(s) may only have the Virtual Office service enabled when they also need the 8x8 Contact Center service license enabled.
The user(s) may only have 8x8 Work service enabled. In order to access the 8x8 Agent Console (SSO panel), they need to have a separate Contact Center service (license) enabled.
