Widget Color changes on Dashboard
The Request
As an example, we had the following requests from one of our customers.
One of the widgets is called "Calls Abandoned". Could this widget be colored GREEN if the Calls Abandoned are below 5%. If the Abandoned Calls percentage is between 5.0% and 9.99% then could the color in AMBER and if the Abandoned calls hit 10% or above then could the widget be colored RED.
The other widget is called "Average Handling Time". If this time is below 3 minutes and 30 seconds can it be colored GREEN. If the Average Handling time is between 3 minutes and 30 seconds and 5 minutes, then can it be colored AMBER. As soon as the average Handling time hits or exceeds 5 minutes then can the widget turn RED.
Goal
Our goal is to color the metrics in 3 different colors: Red, Amber and Green and to set the parameters accordingly.
Solution
Go to 8x8 Analytics Dashboards: https://analytics-eu.8x8.com/dashboards
On top right, go to the wheel shaped icon , then select Thresholds.
If there isn't any threshold created, press the blue button "New Set", on the top right side of the page.
In the new pop-up window, select "Queues Set".
In the next window, press "New Threshold" button, in top right side of the page.
After this, a "New Threshold" page will open.
If there are threshold sets already created, just edit them by pressing the pencil shaped button .
One of the widgets is called "Calls Abandoned". Could this widget be colored GREEN if the Calls Abandoned are below 5%. If the Abandoned Calls percentage is between 5.0% and 9.99% then could the color in AMBER and if the Abandoned calls hit 10% or above then could the widget be colored RED.
For the first request that the customer had, do the following steps:
Set "Select metric type" to Today(TD).
Set "Select metric" to Abandoned %.
Set "Warning at:" Less than 5% and select Amber colored bubble.
Set "Danger at:" Greater than 9.99% and select Red colored bubble.
Also, don't forget to turn on "Display GOOD as green on the wallboard".
After all these modifications, press the blue "Save" button on the top right side of the page.
The other widget is called "Average Handling Time". If this time is below 3 minutes and 30 seconds can it be colored GREEN. If the Average Handling time is between 3 minutes and 30 seconds and 5 minutes, then can it be colored AMBER. As soon as the average Handling time hits or exceeds 5 minutes then can the widget turn RED.
For the second request that the customer had, do the following steps:
Set "Select metric type" to Today(TD).
Set "Select metric" to Avg Handling Time.
Set "Warning at:" Greater or equal to 3.5 min and select Amber colored bubble.
Set "Danger at:" Greater than 5 min and select Red colored bubble.
Also, don't forget to turn on "Display GOOD as green on the wallboard".
After all these modifications, press the blue "Save" button on the top right side of the page.
