Error when attempting to use Contact Centre email channel with a passowrd containing an apostrophe

 

Symptom

When attempting to configure an email channel in Contact Center if the password contained an apostrophe 

When testing the connection a banner error is returned "Some Internal Error has occurred, please try again after some time"

When attempting to save a banner error is returned "1"

Applies To

  • Contact Center

Resolution

Reset the password of the email channel to something that does not contain an apostrophe.
