How to Make an Agent a Super User in 8x8 Contact Center

Objective

To make a 8x8 Contact Center agent a Super User.

Applies To

  • 8x8 Contact Center
  • Mode 3 accounts
  • Super Users

Procedure

Contact Center Admin in Account Manager

  1. Log in to 8x8 Account Manager.
  2. Click Account > Privileges.
  3. Locate the User. 
    • If the user is not in the list, click Assign New Privileges > check the box next to the desired user's name.
    • If the user is in the list, next to the desired User click Edit.
  4. Under Account Manager Privileges check the box VCC Admin.
  5. Click Save Changes.

Super User in Contact Center Configuration Manager

  1. Log in to Contact Center Configuration Manager.
  2. Select Agents
  3. Click Edit (pencil icon). 
  4. Navigate to the General tab.
  5. Under Role setting, change to SuperUser.
  6. Click Save.

The user will need to log out and log in.
