Why does it appear as if pausing a campaign doesn't immediately stop it dialling?

Answer

The pausing of an active campaign will happen after the calls for the campaign in the dialler hopper have been dialed. The dialler hopper holds up to 50 contacts at a time. When there is a lot of outbound activity this will normally be processed quickly, but for very low volumes of calls and a small number of campaigns, it may take some time for them all to be processed. This would give the appearance that the campaign hasn't halted.
