Q: Is there something else I can use to replace Click2Pop?
A: Yes! We've added a call pop feature to 8x8 Work Desktop, which performs the same function as Click2Pop. Please see the Click2Pop Alternative section, below.
Q: How long will Click2Pop continue to work?
A: Click2Pop will work until September 10, 2020.
Q: What will happen if I try to log in to Click2Pop after September 10?
A: At that time, attempted logins to Click2Pop will fail with an error message.
Q: Who will be affected?
A: Click2Pop will stop working for all users. This includes:
- General Click2Pop users
- Users of eAgent
- Users of SugarCRM (for Windows PC)
Q: Will there be a new version of Click2Pop?
A: The Click2Pop software is no longer in development, so no new versions of Click2Pop will be developed or published.
Q: What should I do with the Click2Pop software currently installed on my PC?
A: Click2Pop can safely be uninstalled from your PC. You may need to contact your IT department to do this, if you don't have administrator rights on your PC.
We suggest that you begin using the Caller Info Pop-Up feature in 8x8 Work Desktop, which emulates Click2Pop app functionality, before September 10, 2020. The configuration is simple and easy to do.
