How To Assign A Virtual Number To An Extension In 8x8 Admin Console

 

Objective

Assign a Virtual Number to an Extension 

Applies To

  • 8x8 Admin Console 
  • Auto Attendance 
  • Ring Group 
  • Call Queue 
  • User

Procedure

To assign a Virtual number to one of the above extension ensure the number is available. 

  1. Log into 8x8 Admin Console 
  2. Go to your desire extension 
  3. Click on the Telephone number tab and choose the number listed in the dropdown
