How to Record Calls Selectively in the Admin Console

Objective

To be able to record calls selectively.

Applies To

  • 8x8 Admin Console
  • 8x8 Work for Desktop

Procedure

  1. Log in to 8x8 Admin Console
  2. Click Users.
  3. Click Edit (pencil icon).
  4. Go to Call Recording Settings.
  5. Select Allow user to record calls selectively and click Save.

  6. Once enabled, the user should be able to start and stop recording in 8x8 Work for Desktop.

Additional Information

Selective recording in 8x8 Admin Console is the same as record on demand for legacy accounts.
