Users can call channel number internally from VO extensions.
All users who who have access to VO. Though the channel numbers do not have a designated extensions, they can be dialed by setting always forward rule to channel number on any extension.
- You can use a spare extension, or create a user profile.
- Set the always forward rule pointing to required channel number.
- Ensure that the extension is set to be visible in contact directory.
Example: If x 1000 is set to always forward to +44xxxxxxxxxx(channel number) and set to be visible in company directory, users within the company can simply dial x1000 from their VO so that they can reach +44xxxxxxxxxx.
