Enable/Disable Voicemail Access for a User from the Ring Group in 8x8 Admin Console


  • Disable voicemail access from the ring group.

Applies To

  • 8x8 Admin Console


  1. Login to 8x8 Admin Console.
  2. Go to Ring Groups then click editScreen Shot 2021-01-25 at 3.15.14 PM.png
  3.  Go to Members > Options.
  4. Click Enable or Disable voicemail access.
  5. Click Save.

Additional Information

This applies to Ring Group voicemail only. Users can still access their own voicemail and can receive a voicemail email notification from their extension if enabled. For Account Manager, click here.
