Overview
On 9/15/21, 8x8 will discontinue all 8x8 residential voice services as we focus our attention on business-oriented communication services for integrated voice, video, and chat.

Details
Beginning 9/15/21, 8x8 Residential Service will become End of Life, and no longer be available as a service. Customers will be emailed details along with a physical notification via mail.
Refund Policy
If you are on a plan where you pay monthly or annually for service, when you port your telephone number to a new residential voice provider, we will refund fees for any unused portion of the monthly/annual fee.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long will Residential Service continue to work?
The residential service will officially cease to work as of September 15, 2021, you should select a new residential voice and port your telephone number to your new residential voice provider.
What happens to my number?
If you fail to port your telephone number to a new voice provider prior to September 15, 2021, you will lose the telephone number(s) associated with your 8x8 residential voice service.
Is there something else I can use to replace Residential Service?
