Unable to Answer Calls in Virtual Office Desktop App

While receiving a call in Virtual Office Desktop, you may only be able to answer via the desk phone. Learn how to resolve this issue here.


When receiving an incoming call in Virtual Office Desktop (VOD), you are presented with the options to answer via desk phone or to hang up the call.

Virtual Office Desktop v 5.0 and later


Change Call Using Selection

To answer calls using the Virtual Office Desktop app, ensure that you have Call Using Computer selected.

To edit Call Using settings

  1. Click Call Using. If you have Call Using Deskphone selected, the icon will display as a phone.
  2. Under Call Using settings, click Computer.
  3. Review your audio options.
  4. Close the settings panel.


This occurs when Call Using Deskphone is selected in VOD.
