Account Manager: How to Set Up Exception Hours Rule in Auto Attendant


How do I set up a business hours exception for my Auto Attendant in Account Manager?

Account Manager (legacy) Auto Attendant


  1. Log in to Account Manager.
  2. From the top navigation bar, click Phone System.
  3. Select Auto Attendant.
  4. Click Edit on the Auto Attendant profile to modify.


  1. Select "Proceed without Copy" (if original is to be edited; otherwise, select "Copy and Proceed" to create a clone of the original AA).


  1. Within Auto Attendant (AA) expand "Hours of Operation" and go to "Business Hours Exceptions (optional)".


  1. Click on the green "+" to add a new exception.
  2. Select date of exception with open and close times.


  1. Add additional exceptions if necessary for future dates.
  2. Click SAVE at the bottom of the page.
  3. Click "Turn On" to activate the new rules.

Additional Information

Adding Exception Rules will override existing Business Hours rules for the specific date(s) added.
