Internet Fax Displaying Incorrect Fax DID When Sending Fax

Symptom

When sending a fax through Work for Desktop, the fax displays the wrong fax number or DID.

Resolution

Make sure each extension has a unique user profile assigned to it.

Cause

Without a unique user profile assigned to the extension, the system will not be able to separate each assigned fax DID that is assigned to the extension. Instead it will use the same fax DID that is assigned to that user, and every extension using that profile will automatically display that fax DID.
