What is Ring Group Receptionist Type and How are Calls Routed to the Selected Receptionist?

The Ring Group Receptionist Type is used to re-route callers to a receptionist if they press 0 when reaching a user or service (ring group or call queue) voicemail. An Extension, Auto Attendant, Ring Group, or Call Queue can be selected in the Receptionist type. The receptionist will be applied to all users and services for that site.


Additional Information

The voicemail greeting should inform the callers that they may opt-out of leaving a message by pressing 0. To change the voicemail greeting of the Ring Group, please click here.
