My Business/After Hours/Weekend Voicemail greeting doesn't activate.

Answer

The Business/After Hours/Weekend greetings are mainly labels that allow users to record multiple greetings for their voicemail. These greetings need to be manually switched from Business Hour to After Hour and vice versa. 

The VM system does not reference a schedule, therefore it doesn't know when it's business hours, after hours or weekend. 

Additional Information

Scenario:

User A works a schedule from 9am PST to 6pm PST.

User A has recorded both a Business Hour greeting as well as an After Hour greeting and has activated the Business Hour greeting.

At 6pm PST, user A needs to dial 555 from his VOD or deskphone, input his VM password and manually activate the After Hour greeting.
