I am unable to create a user when they have an apostrophe in their email address

Why do I receive an error when trying to create a user in Configuration Manager?

When trying to create a user with an apostrophe in their email address the creation process fails and shows an error.

Answer

Remove the apostrophe from the email address and then save the user. You can then add the apostrophe in afterwards if required.
