Failed at VCC Extension Save Error While Adding a Contact Center License
Symptom
When I try and add a VCC license to a user I receive an error "Failed at VCC extension save"
Applies To
- 8x8 Admin Console
- Users
Resolution
Shorten the username of the user to under 40 characters.
Make sure there is no special character like apostrophe, in the user's first or last name.
Cause
There is a 40 character limit for VCC usernames.
