Set Up Auto-Delete Voicemail on an Extension

Objective

Setting up auto-delete voicemail to have the voicemail attachment forwarded to the user's email address.

Applies To

  • 8x8 Admin Console
  • Voicemail

Procedure

  1. Log in to 8x8 Admin Console.
  2. Select Users and locate the desired user.

  3. To the right of the user, select Edit (pencil icon).

  4. Navigate to Voicemail Settings.
  5. Set the Notification action from the drop-down to Attachment only and delete original voicemail.
  6. Enter an email address.
  7. Select Save.
