What do the call quality & connectivity indicators mean in 8x8 Work?

  • 8x8 Work for Desktop - 7.5 and above

Answer

Beginning with version 7.5 of Work for Desktop, call quality and connectivity can be monitored while on an active call.

Quality can be determined with the following indicators:

  1. Quality score (inbound and outbound)
  • Good: Greater than 98%
  • Average: Between 98% and 96%
  • Poor: Less than 96%
  1. Packet loss rate (inbound and outbound)
  2. Codec used for the call
  3. Average jitter
