When attempting to make an outbound call on an iPhone or iOS device using the 8x8 Work for Mobile app, you encounter a single busy tone and then silence. The call does not complete.

A fix has been released by 8x8 engineering. Close and relaunch the 8x8 Work for Mobile app to engage the fix and use as normal.
An updated version of the app, 10.13.1 (b3), with the permanently applied fix is available on the App Store.
