Insufficient Privileges to Perform the Operation Error in 8x8 Contact Center

Symptom

8x8 Contact Center agent is getting error when attempting to delete a task or case in Contact Center: Insufficient privileges to perform the operation or unable to find delete option

Resolution

Enable the agent/user for Delete in CRM & Tab permissions within their profile from Contact Configuration Manager:

Cause

The agent is not enabled with Delete permissions in their profile.
