Why are broadcast messages received by agents not in the agent group?

Why am I receiving 8x8 Contact Center Broadcast messages even though I am not in the destination Agent Group?

This is by design.
If a user is not part of the Agent Group but is a Supervisor assigned to that Agent Group, they will also receive the Contact Center Broadcast messages for that particular Agent Group.
