What is the maximum length a caller can leave a voicemail to an 8x8 extension?

Answer

The default length is 5 minutes. This can be increased to up to 10 minutes (and also decreased) but requires a PBX restart.

Changing the length will affect all mailboxes on the PBX.

Additional Information

A PBX restart takes approximately 5-10 minutes. There is no action needed for the users, however any active calls would get disconnected. This activity can be scheduled during off hours or a preferred time by the customer.
