When making an outbound call, no ring-back tone is heard before the other party answers.
Place Test Calls
To confirm your extension is online, try placing test calls from the affected extension to
- Your voicemail (Dial 555).
- Other extensions on your 8x8 system.
If successful, try calling two or three phone numbers out of your 8x8 network again.
Your extension may be offline (if the other party does not answer).
In other cases, this may indicate a possible carrier issue.
