How to Export Logs on Polycom Phone

 

Objective

To export logs on Polycom Phone, find the IP address of the telephone, press the home button then select settings.

Procedure

Find the IP address of the Telephone 

  1. Press the Home button.
  2. Select SettingsStatus.
  3. Select Network TCP/IP Parameters.
  4. Note the IP address listed on the second line as you’ll need it for the configuration steps below.
Connect to the Polycom Web Configuration Utility 
  1. Launch a web browser on a Windows computer using the same network as your Polycom phone.
  2. Enter the IP address of the telephone you noted in the first step.
  3. Click Admin.
  4. Enter the MAC password.
  5. Click Submit.
  6. Navigate to Diagnostics View & Download Logs.5.png
  7. Click Export to save the logs.

    Be sure to select App logs as the Log type.

  8. Send the exported log file to 8x8 support through your case.
