During the signup process, users are asked to enter an area code for their desired main company number. If we do not have inventory of the area code that was desired, the user will be offered a backup area code that we have determined to be in or around the area of the area code the user originally wanted.

If you are happy with the recommended number, click Next to continue the signup process. If you are not happy with the recommended number, click Next to continue with the signup process, and once you have access to your 8x8 account, please contact 8x8 support. 8x8 Support will then work with you to find a number a more suitable number.
8x8 purchases numbers from vendors and then makes them available to customers. In rare instances, inventory is not available in certain area codes.
