During the signup process, you enter an area code for your desired main company number and receive an error that reads, "No number was found in that area code. We recommend this number."

If you are happy with the recommended number, click Next to continue the signup process.
8x8 purchases numbers from vendors and makes them available to customers. In rare instances, inventory is not available in certain area codes. If we do not have inventory of the area code that was desired, the user will be offered a backup area code that we have determined to be in or around the area of the area code the user originally wanted.
