8x8 Express: How to Hide or Unhide Chat in 8x8 Work Desktop
Objective
Hide or unhide a chat message in Work for Desktop.
Tip:
The below steps can be used to hide or unhide a Room as well!

Procedure
Hide a Conversation
- Log in to Work for Desktop.
- Select the chat message icon.
- Select the 3 dots for the chat you would like to hide.
- Select the Hide Conversation option.
- You will have the option to hide multiple chats if needed by selecting the check box next to each chat. Select the Hide button at the bottom.
The chat is now hidden when selecting the chat section of Work for Desktop.
Unhide a Conversation
- Select the create message icon at the bottom of the chat section.
- Select the Message icon.
- Search or scroll the list of users and select the user you wish to unhide the conversation for.
- This will re-open your conversation with the user and they will reappear in the chat section of Work for Desktop.
