Emergency Services on Fuze Mobile
Question
Can I use Fuze Mobile to call emergency services?
Applies To
- Fuze Mobile
Answer
If a call is placed to a recognized emergency number (e.g., 911) using Fuze Mobile, the app automatically attempts to switch to the mobile device’s native dialer so that the call can be made via the carrier’s network. This depends on the carrier’s terms, and network availability at the time of the call.
This means that emergency calls cannot be made using Fuze Mobile. When contacting emergency services, a non-Fuze calling method, such as a cell phone, desk phone, or home phone must be used instead.
To help keep Fuze Mobile users informed of this, anyone who signs in to Fuze Mobile must agree to the precautionary message shown below.
