Video or Screen Share During Calls on Fuze Mobile

Objective

Share your video or your screen while on a call on the Fuze Mobile app.

Applies To

  • Fuze Mobile

Procedure

Unifying calls with video and screen sharing allows you to enrich your calls without needing to switch to a meeting. If you’re on a call with another Fuze user at your organization, you can turn on video or share your screen at any time during the call.

Turn on Video

When you turn on video during a call, you can use your device's front and back camera. The video actively switches to portrait or landscape mode depending on your phone's orientation.

Additionally, if you turn on video during a call you can also view screen share for any Fuze Desktop or Web user who is sharing their screen.

To turn on video during a call, simply tap the Video button that appears at the bottom of the call screen.

Share Your Screen

You can share your mobile device's screen while on a call with Fuze Mobile for iOS or Android.

Keep in mind that when your screen is shared, anyone else on the call can view what is currently displayed on your screen, including notifications. You may want to stop notifications or place yourself in Do Not Disturb mode on communication apps before sharing your screen.

While in screen sharing mode, Fuze does not currently support the ability for meeting attendees to hear any audio playback originating from the host's device. However, attendees are able to view any media being shown on the screen.
