Due to the rapid increase in volume due to the Covid-19 virus, 8x8 has experienced issues with 8x8 Video Meetings and PSTN dial-ins. Some users dialing into 8x8 Video Meeting bridges via PSTN access phone numbers may experience call quality issues such as garbled audio. Audio connected via 8x8 Video Meetings through the browser, Virtual Office Desktop or Virtual Office Mobile is not affected.

This issue is now resolved. 8x8 operations teams implemented a solution that better scales with usage spikes on 3/24/2020. There should no longer be any issues with call quality for PSTN meeting participants.
