2021-01-25: New 8x8 Geographic Subnets to be Enabled
Notice
8x8 will be enabling automated geo-routing for additional Subnets in its Data Centers/Media PoPs located in the United States, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Germany, and Brazil. As a best practice, it is recommended that customers add these subnets to their Quality of Service (QOS) policies and Access Control Lists (ACL) to be able to take advantage of these new media PoPs, and ensure optimal functionality of 8x8’s UCaaS and CCaaS services.
Has your company implemented specific ACLs on your firewall or routers to allow data traffic from 8x8 subnets? Please ensure that all the new subnets are added prior to 1/25/20 to avoid any potential disruption of service due to your firewall/router inadvertently blocking 8x8 traffic from any of the new locations. If you are unsure whether your firewall or router configuration utilizes ACL or other security blocking or whitelisting by IP address subnets, please consult your IT team for confirmation.

Below are the new subnets that should be added/modified in your allowed policy in your firewall/router and/or QoS Policies.
