Sameroom: Logging In to Your Sameroom Account
Objective
This article will guide you through methods for logging in to your established Sameroom service.
- Because Sameroom does not store IDs and passwords, there is no Sameroom-specific login ID for Sameroom accounts.
- Also, the login process does not support chat services which require the use of a bridgebot, such as Skype, Telegram, and GroupMe.

Logging In to Your Sameroom Account
There are two primary methods you can use to log in to Sameroom:
- Use your currently-assigned email address.
- Authenticate by logging in to a connected application.
Log in to Sameroom using your email address
To log in using the email address currently associated with your account:
- Navigate to https://sameroom.io.
- Click Sign in / Join.
- Click the Email option.
- Enter the appropriate email address and click Submit.
- Check your email for a new message from Sameroom.io.
- Copy the code you received, then paste it in the Confirmation Code field and click Submit.
- Once you're logged in, Sameroom will automatically take you to the Manage page, where you can make changes to the tubes and portals you've created, or create new ones.
Log in to Sameroom through a connected application
To sign in using authentication from applications you've already connected to your account:
- Navigate to https://sameroom.io.
- Click Sign in / Join.
- Click on the icon of an application you've already connected in Sameroom. We'll select Gitter as an example.
- Click Sign in with your own <application> account instead.
- Complete the login process for your specific application. If/when it asks for permission to allow Sameroom to access your application, select Allow.
- Once you're logged in, Sameroom will automatically take you to the Manage page, where you can make changes to the tubes and portals you've created, or create new ones.
