Admin Missing Passphrase in 8x8 Support Portal

Symptom

Admin has no passphrase present in 8x8 Support Portal (My 8x8).

Applies To

• 8x8 Support Portal (My 8x8)
• 8x8 Admin Console
• X Series & 8x8 Editions

Resolution

1. Log in to 8x8 Admin Console.
2. Click Menu > Roles & permissions > Assignments.
   
3. Click Create Assignment.
4. Under Assigned to, select the user.
5. Select My8x8 Admin (default) as the role.
6. Click Save.

Have the user log out and log back into 8x8 Support Portal (My 8x8), the passphrase segment should now be visible.

Cause

My8x8 Access was not assigned in 8x8 Admin Console.
