Removing a security question for a customer from their Service Cloud Community page.

Before proceeding, make sure the account is passphrase verified. This applies when the customer is unable to reset their password due to forgotten security answer.

  1. Go to
  2. Super user the customer using your CRM credentials.
    • Username : [CRM Username] +[Customer's Username]
    • Password : [CRM Password]
  3. Click the arrow on the upper right hand corner of the page and click Settings.
  4. In the Settings window, select --none-- and click Save.
  5. Have the customer do Forgot Password again, and this time should get a reset password link without asking a security question.
