8x8 and the GDPR: Information on Readiness and Amendments
Overview
The General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) came into force on 25 May 2018.
Protecting customer data and complying with data protection laws is 8x8's priority. Our updated data protection provisions balance the risk presented by the GDPR as between you as a data controller and 8x8 as a data processor. These provisions ensure you have comfort that, as a data controller, our contractual arrangements include the prescribed requirements, and are appropriately tailored to the services that 8x8 provides.
