Implementation Starter is a self-service package ideal for customers who have the technical expertise in-house to be self-sufficient. It includes limited assistance from an implementation agent
Implementation Plus is a guided service where 8x8 will guide you through an in-depth set up of your system with the help of a dedicated Solution Delivery Consultant

Sales Process Complete
- You will receive a Welcome Email to register for the Admin Console 101 Webinar.
Admin Console 101 Webinar
The webinar will cover the following topics:
- Login to the 8x8 Admin Console
- Support resources (My 8x8, 8x8 Knowledge Base, and 8x8 University)
- Claiming phone numbers
- Creating users
- Setting up Ring Groups
- Creating Auto Attendants
- Resources on setting up your network
- End user application basics (8x8 Work for Desktop and 8x8 Work for Mobile)
Once you have completed the webinar, you will receive an invitation email to schedule an appointment with an implementation advisor should you need further assistance in completing the setup.
System Configuration Call (Upon completion of Admin Console 101 webinar)
- Review the already configured system and answer any questions you may have
- Offer assistance in phone activation if any remain to be activated
- Overview of the porting process and walk through the steps on how to port your numbers to 8x8 (if applicable)
- Additional resources such as 8x8 University Training Videos or Knowledge Base articles
Follow Up Call
The follow up call is optional based on your needs.
- The implementation advisor will assist you with troubleshooting any remaining issues
- They may revisit a previous topic if you need additional assistance

Implementation Plus
Sales Process Complete
- The sales agent will ensure a smooth transition to our deployment team
- You will receive a Welcome Email that a Solution Delivery Consultant will reach out to you within 2 business days
Welcome Call
You will be introduced to your dedicated Solution Delivery Consultant who will serve as your point of contact throughout the implementation process.
The following topics will be discussed:
- Define call routing
- Discuss phone numbers and user creation process
- Design call flows as desired
- Confirm network information and suggest changes if necessary
- Discuss Number Transfer (Porting) based on expected timeline
- Schedule the next meeting and provide additional resources
System Configuration Calls
Each system configuration call may vary but in general the Solution Delivery Consultant will review the following key components with you. These calls will occur on a weekly basis until moving onto the next phase.
- Review any setup progress, how the system works and how to administer
- Bulk upload users accounts and configure call flow
- Activate phones
- Submit port request
- Follow-up meeting invitations and appropriate links to 8x8 Knowledge Base
Follow up and System Testing Calls
Each Follow-up call may vary but in general the Solution Delivery Consultant will review the following key components with you. These calls will occur on a weekly basis until moving onto the next phase.
- Ensure that call flow is configured as desired
- Test the configured system to ensure it all works properly
- Review porting progress
- Ensure that you are confident with the setup and aware of the remaining steps to be completed

Health Checks
- System Health Checks are available one week and two weeks after transitioning to support. The Solution Delivery Consultant will reach out to you to see if you experience any issues or require any additional assistance
