SolarWinds 2020 Hack and 8x8 Services

Question

Does 8x8 use SolarWinds, and is my service and information secure? There are reports about Solarwinds systems being compromised in December 2020.

8x8 takes all security threats seriously and immediately investigates all possible exploits to its security profile. 8x8 has reviewed it's architecture and does not utilize SolarWinds Orion. 8x8 is unaffected by the recent SunBurst exploit affecting SolarWinds Orion. In addition to independent penetration tests, 8x8 utilizes an in house penetration testing department to constantly monitor infrastructure for potential exploits.
