For assistance on how to use the tool, please see How to Use the 8x8 Network Utility Tool.
Note: You will need a product activation key to use the Network Utility. Please contact 8x8 Support for assistance.
Please ensure that UDP 3478-3480 is allowed out of your network, these ports are listed in the "Optional" portion of the X Series Technical Requirements document.
The Network Utility provides a snapshot of network settings and diagnostic results. While the test is comprehensive some network settings that affect phone service may not be captured in the test. In the event of issues occurring that are likely related to network configuration, the firewall configuration may still need to be reviewed despite passing the Network Utility test.
See also How to Read the Network Utility Results.
8x8 does not recommend or support the use of the Network Utility while connected to a client VPN. Attempting to run the Network Utility while connected to your client VPN will result in the inability to register the application or contact any of 8x8's servers.
