Why cannot we listen on the interface or download and play call recordings?

- Customers who opted for having all their call recordings being encrypted cannot listen to them on the interface or download and play them on any machine, without decrypting recording files.
- Here at 8x8 we do not store the private key that was generated and configured for this operation and therefore the customer is the one with control over their audio files.
- Nonetheless, if by any chance you have misplaced the key or require for the encryption to be removed, please contact the Support department and we shall assist you with the request.
