How do I create and assign Status Codes?


Create and assign Status Codes in Virtual Contact Centre (VCC)

  1. Log in to VCC Configuration Manager as an administrator.
  2. Navigate to Home > Status Codes.
  3. Click Add_Button.png.
  4. On the Properties tab:
    1. Tick the Active box.
    2. Name your Status Code list.
    3. Select the Primary Language for this list.
    4. Click Save.
  5. On the Codes tab:
    1. Click Add_Button.png.
    2. Tick the Active box.
    3. Enter the Menu Text (this is what the agent sees when selecting a status code).
    4. Enter the Report Text (this is what supervisors will see on a report for status codes).
    5. Enter a Short Code, if desired.
    6. Tick the box next to the status(es) that you want this code to be available for.
    7. Repeat for each Status Code you wish to add for this list.
    8. Click Save.
  6. On the Assignments tab:
    1. Tick the box next to each Agent Group that should use these codes.

      It is not possible to assign more than one Status Code List to an Agent Group.

    2. Click Save.

If you have several, name your Status Code Lists in a similar fashion to their relevant Agent Group. This will help to identify different lists without lengthy investigation.
