When attempting to upgrade to the latest version of Virtual Office Desktop using the Check for Updates feature or the in-app upgrade prompt, you are unable to download and install the update.
This may include the warning message A newer version of 8x8 - Virtual Office already installed. Setup will now exit.

Uninstall and Reinstall.
If you are unable to upgrade VOD within the app, simply uninstall your current version of the app, then download and install the latest available version.
This may be due to one of the following:
- You are upgrading from an older version of VOD that has direct update issues
- Network issues preventing the update download from completing
