Virtual Office Mobile can't receive calls on the Android phone

Objective

Can't receive calls on the Android Phones

Procedure

Before proceeding with the steps, can you log out of your Virtual Office Desktop (VOD) app and Virtual Office Mobile (VOM) app for the changes to apply.

  1. Login to your account manager dashboard
  2. Go to Phone System

  3. Select the View All Extension

  4. Search for the affected extension and click on Edit user

  5. Click on Reset Profile

  6. Now Save the profile
  7. On your Android phone uninstall the VOM app
  8. Go to your app store
  9. Install the 8x8 Virtual Mobile App
  10. Login to your Virtual Office Mobile App
  11. Allow all the permissions which pops up on the screen

Cause

This is normally caused when your android services is conflicting with the 8x8 app.
